Michael Addamo

The $150 million guaranteed WSOP Winter Circuit festival is in full swing at GGPoker, and the prize pools of the online poker giant's most popular tournaments are swollen as a result. Huge prizes and prestige attract the best poker players out of the woodwork, and Michael Addamo is one such player.

Addamo has not been as prominent at GGPoker as he was during his incredible run in 2021, but he has still racked up more than his fair share of stellar results. The Australian superstar can count the $25,500 WSOPC High Roller Sunday Ultra HR as one of his many poker-related accomplishments, with him taking it down on December 4.

A compact field of 24 entrants meant only the top four finishers won a slice of the $650,000 prize pool. With that in mind, spare a thought for Russia's "spaise411," who was the unfortunate soul that popped the money bubble. It was a giant bubble, too, with Wiktor Malinowski banking $99,758 for his fourth-place finish.

Third place went to Finland's "TimothyAdams," a finish worth $133,029. The Finn's untimely demise left Addamo heads-up against Mark Radoja. Addamo rarely loses a one-on-one battle, and this was not one of those times. The Aussie swept aside his Canadian opponent to secure the $236,564 top prize, leaving Radoja to collect a $177,398 consolation prize.

Martirosian Adds $142,598 to His Bankroll

Artur Martirosian

Russia's Artur Martirosian is the biggest winner at GGPoker, and it is easy to see why. Martirosian has five Super MILLION$ victories among his many triumphs, and he took down the $10,300 WSOPC High Rollers Sunday Super High Roller this weekend.

A star-studded field of 65 entrants created a $650,000 prize pool that the top eight finishers shared. Pablo Silva was the first of those eight grinders to cash; he walked away with $27,250 for his efforts.

Guillaume Nolet and Joao Vieira were the next players to fall. They scooped payments worth $35,386 and $45,952, respectively. Then came the elimination of Eelis Parssinen ($59,673) and China's "deyi168" ($77,491), the latter's exit guaranteeing a six-figure sum for the surviving players.

That trio of players struck a deal to lessen the significant pay jumps. Officially, Viacheslav Buldygin finished third for $129,044, Mikita Badziakouski reeled in $129,392 for his second-place finish, and Martirosian padded his bankroll with $142,598. Badziakouski would later take down a $5,250 buy-in event for almost $50,000.

Some 833 GGPoker players turned out for this weekend's $1,050 GGMasters High Roller event, creating an $833,000 prize pool. Leonard "LottoLarry" Maue was the last player standing once the dust had settled. His reward? A cool $116,917.

Maue left the likes of Janos "JonWinning" Halasz, and Jareth "UraizeIfold" East in his wake at the final table, before making short work of the talented Lars "Babyccino" Nystedt heads-up. Nystedt, although disappointed not to come away with a victory, must still be pleased with his $88,692 consolation prize.
