Table Of Contents
If you are a Pot-Limit Omaha fan or are thinking about dipping your toes into the crazy world of four- and five-card PLO, you need to head to GGPoker during the first couple of weeks of November.
Between November 1-17, GGPoker is hosting the PLO Series, which, as its name suggests, is a poker tournament festival dedicated to the Pot-Limit Omaha variants.
The latest edition of the GGPoker PLO Series features more than 450 tournaments with buy-ins starting at an affordable $15 and increasing to a massive $10,000. Guarantees on those tournaments start at $10,000 and build to several $1 million pots. Total guarantees weigh in at $20 million.
Six $1 Million Guaranteed PLO Events
There are six PLO Series events boasting a $1 million prize pool. Three of those seven-figure guarantees are reserved for the trio of $10,000 GGMillion$ Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments, which run at 7:00 p.m. UTC on November 1, 8, and 15.
The other three $1M events are multi-stage tournaments, including one of the new and exciting Ocean KO events.
Stage 1s for the $25 PLO Ocean KO are already running, with the final stage set for 6:30 p.m. UTC on November 2. Despite only costing $25 to enter, this event guarantees at least $1 million will be won. However, the progressive random bounties used in Ocean KO tournaments could result in even more prize money being awarded.
The other two multi-stage PLO Series tournaments with a $1 million guarantee are the $1,050 PLO Bounty High Roller and the $215 PLO Mystery Bounty Main Event. The former sees its final stage take place at 6:30 p.m. UTC on November 16, with the Main Event wrapping up at the same time a week earlier on November 9.
$200,000 Worth of Prizes in the PLO Series Leaderboard
GGPoker has put aside $200,000 for the top 1,500 performers during the PLO Series. Players earn points based on their finish in PLO Series tournaments. Those who finish in the top 1,500 on the leaderboard win prizes ranging from T$20 to a cool T$10,000 and a $10,000 GGMillion$ PLO High Roller ticket.
