If you were at limb for something to do for the rest of the week then you've just stumbled upon the perfect way to spend your time. PokerStars is hosting the returning MicroMillions Marathon Series, boasting of affordable buy-ins, sizable guarantees, and a plethora of diverse poker variations and tournament formats.

Do you often envy those who actively participate in major online poker events? Then the MicroMillions Marathon is tailored just for you.

This series caters to players who desire to participate in tournament series and play in events with substantial guarantees and robust structures but do not necessarily have the bankroll for something like the upcoming Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP).

Running from Thursday, April 20, to Sunday, April 23, the series guarantees an enormous $2 million prize pool spread across 84 events, with buy-ins starting at a meager $1.10. Additionally, most tournaments in the series require buy-ins of $5.50 or less, with only seven out of 84 events surpassing that threshold.

All the 84 events in the MicroMillions Marathon schedule are worth a look at. However, some tournaments catch the eye more than others.

The first events that should be on everyone 'To Play' list is the $11 Daily Special Progressive KOs. $75,000 GTD editions of the tournament run on April 20 and 21, with the installments on April 22 and 23 guaranteeing $100,000! These tournaments get underway at 6:05 p.m. BST but note that Sunday's event kicks off at 5:05 p.m. BST.

Another $11 buy-in event that you should check out is the MicroMillions Marathon Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) Main Event which features a $35,000 guarantee. This starts at 6:35 p.m. on April 23, and late registration is open for the first two and a half hours of play.

The biggest guarantee of the series comes from the PKO Main Event, which should come as no surprise. The Main Event sees the buy-in slightly increase to $22 but still offers amazing value thanks to the $350,000 guarantee. Again, this event gets going on Sunday and begins at 6:05 p.m. BST.

The most expensive buy-in event for the MicroMillions Marathon goes to the High Roller, which has a $55 buy-in. The guarantee is well worth the price of admission as no less than $250,000 will be paid out once it starts proceedings on Sunday at 7:05 p.m.
