More Than $2M Guaranteed in the 888poker XL Autumn Series From Sept. 17

Over $2 million in combined guaranteed prize pools will be won by 888poker players during the latest edition of the XL Autumn Series. Following on from a hugely successful XL Spring Series, the Autumn instalment features 34 numbered events and 145 tournaments in total with buy-ins ranging from $5.50 up to $525, with every buy-in you can think of between those extremes.

The first 888poker XL Autumn Series numbered event shuffles up and deals on September 17, the first of nine tournaments schedule for the opening day. It will cost you $55 to enter the $35,000 XL Autumn #01 – Mystery Bounty Mini Opening, which comes with a $35,000 prize pool.

September 17 is also when the $109 buy-in $120,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty Opening event kicks off. This tournament pauses when the nine-handed final table is reached, with Day 2 taking place on September 18 under the watchful eyes of the ever-popular 888poker Twitch stream team.

Two other 888poker XL Autumn Series events are receiving streamed coverage. The $200,000 XL Autumn #20 – Mystery Bounty has several starting flights running from September 20-24, with Day 2 taking place on September 25. The tournament pauses once the final table is set, and those finalists return to the action on September 26 to crown the worthy champion.

The third and final XL Autumn Series showcased on Twitch also happens to be the biggest event, in terms of the guaranteed prize pool, on the entire schedule. Event #34 is the $250 buy-in Main Event, which boasts a cool $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. Like the $200,000 Mystery Bounty mentioned above, you have plenty of Day 1s to try and build a stack in; they run September 27 to October 2, with Day 2 also penciled in for October 2. The final table of the $500,000 guaranteed XL Autumn Series Main Event commences on September 3.

A similar Main Event rounded off the recent XL Spring Series. Some 1,821 entries fought it out for a share of $500,000. The prize pool was such that all but two of the nine finalists walked away with five-figure scores for their efforts, with mystery bounty payments included.

The tournament belonged to Brazilian "lxiltxZtKQn," who scooped $38,263 after defeating Malta's "luttekikker" heads-up, resigning the runner-up to a juicy $31,438 payout.

2023 888poker XL Autumn Series Full Schedule
