GGPoker Ontario Launches WSOP Paradise Online Satellite Events
You can now play satellite tournaments to the WSOP Paradise on WSOP.ca from Ontario.
In the wake of the popular WSOP Online Ontario earlier this month, WSOP.ca has added a bunch of new satellites to the World Series of Poker's Bahamian festival. The events even have their own tab on the WSOP @ GGPoker client.
The Road To Paradise tournaments are a series of step satellites that give Ontario poker players a chance to win their way to a $13,400* WSOP Paradise Package for as little as $15.
The WSOP Paradise Package includes:
- a WSOP Paradise Main Event buy-in worth $7,155;
- 10-Nights at the Atlantis, host of the WSOP Paradise; and
- a daily free lunch buffet.

Roadmap to Paradise
There are three layers to the step tournaments on the Road To Paradise.
Step 1 events cost $15 to enter and guarantee at least one ticket to a Step 2 event. There are around ten of these events running every day.
Step 2 events require either a $150 buy-in or a ticket earned by winning a Step 1 event. These events award one Step 3 ticket for every 10 players who enter, with a guarantee of at least one ticket to a Step 3 event. There are two to four of these events running daily.
Step 3 events can be bought into directly for $1,500 or you can win a ticket by cashing in a Step 2 tournament. For every ten players who enter, there is a $13,400 WPT Paradise package added to the prize pool with one package guaranteed for each Step 3 event. Only one Step 3 event runs each day.
Plenty Of Options
In addition to the Road To Paradise step events, WSOP.ca is running direct freeroll qualifiers to WSOP Paradise events.
There will also be a series of Online Day 1s for select WSOP Paradise events. In these events, the tourney plays down to the money in a series of online Day 1s all over the world. The survivors of these Day 1s then get to play the rest of the event live at the Atlantis.
Last but not least, you can still buy your package directly from WSOP.ca for $13,400 through the online poker client.
