Daniel Geeng entered the PokerGO Tour PLO Series II with limited tournament results. But he left with a title, and $487,500, in the $25,200 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship.

The 10-event series at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas wrapped with 10 separate players securing wins. It wasn't exactly a who's who of poker royalty winning events, although a few name pros such as Matthew Wantman and Adam Hendrix did claim tournament victories.

PokerGO also hosted a similar series last spring with all Omaha hold'em events on the schedule.

Geeng, a New Hampshire native, was the series' biggest winner for taking down the championship event, which brought in 75 players. He captured his first ever win recorded by The Hendon Mob.

Although he only previously had about $150,000 in live tournament cashes prior to the start o the PLO series, he does have some cashes dating back to 2016. Geeng also finished second to Hendrix in a chop in the $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Progressive Bounty event earlier in the series for $172,710.

At the time, it was far and away his biggest tournament score. But he'd nearly triple that win in Event #9, the championship tournament of the series. Geeng beat out Veselin Karakitukov ($337,500) heads-up for the title, while Harsheel Kothari came in third ($243,750).

There were a number of players in this series who don't normally enter the PokerGO high rollers, which are usually of the no-limit hold'em variety. That includes Geeng, a pot-limit Omaha specialist. In fact, he doesn't have live tournament cashes in any other poker variant.

Other notable winners include Joao Simao, the Brazilian crusher. Simao conquered Event #6: $10,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Dealer's Choice for $182,000, beating out 65 entrants.
