Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov Grabs 16th COOP Title; Tied Third All-Time

During the SCOOP League draft, many of the team captains commented that you needed players who could play all the games. An event like SCOOP 34-H: $1,050 8-Game really puts that to the test.

That's why there were some huge SCOOP League ramifications as Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov overcame a star-studded 61-player field to take down the tournament, winning his fifth SCOOP title. Put together with his 11 WCOOP titles, Strebkov now sits tied for fourth all-time on the all-time COOP list.

Not only that, but he's now the best-performing player in the SCOOP League, moving Team Lex further ahead at the top of proceedings. Veldhuis also picked up valuable points from fourth-place finisher Jerry "Perrymejsen" Odeen and fifth-place finisher Ole "wizowizo" Schemion.

Niklas "Lena900" Astedt Wins Ninth SCOOP Title in SCOOP 38-H: $1,050 NLHE

And it wasn't just Strebkov adding another SCOOP title to his cabinet. Niklas "Lena900" Astedt added a ninth SCOOP title to his storied online poker career.

He denied ".COM??LOL" their second SCOOP title of the year after their victory in SCOOP 08-H: $1,050 NLHE, with fifth-place finisher "zelvavegas" also denied a repeat victory after they won SCOOP 10-H: $530 NLHE [Progressive KO].

Astedt came into this year's SCOOP in a tie for second with Ole "wizowizo" Schemion with eight titles and Simon "C.Darwin2" Mattsson joined them after his victory earlier this week. However, with this victory, he moves into outright second behind Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser, Calvin "cal42688" Anderson and Andre "Premove" Skvortsov (10 titles)

The result also sees Parker Talbot add a win to his SCOOP League team, with the Canadian also owning Bruno "great dant" Volkmann who finished eighth. Meanwhile, four-time SCOOP winner Kelvin "Kelvin_FP:AR" Kerber finished fourth, earning points for Spraggy's SCOOP League team.

SCOOP Bundles Up for Grabs With PokerStars Power Path in May

All-Time PokerStars COOP Titles

It's a who's who of the online poker world when it comes to the battle for all-time COOP supremacy. Last year, Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser equalled the SCOOP record of 10 and then won seven WCOOP titles in the same year to sit atop the pile.

However, with Astedt, Skvortsov and Strebkov already banking early wins in 2024, will the Brit's lead be reduced even further?
