'Dirty Diaper' Strikes Again! Nick Rigby Wins RunGood Grand Prix Caesars Southern Indiana
Nick Rigby might be best known for running a series of bold bluffs, but he showed he can put up some results on the felt too. After a dominating showing at the final table, he topped a field of 358 to win RunGood Grand Prix Caesars Southern Indiana $800 Main Event for $52,323.
It's Rigby's third-biggest cash after his two deep WSOP Main Event runs, according to The Hendon Mob.
"It feels great," Rigby simply said afterward.

Rigby held the chip lead to begin the final table, and he said his plan was "aggression out of the gates." At times, that was working for him. He swept up plenty of pots uncontested, and he won a huge all-in showdown against second-place Charles Rexroat to take more than 60% of the chips to five-handed play. Rexroat shoved into Rigby's aces up with a pair of tens in the hole, leaving the other players seemingly fighting for second.
However, things got a little hairy after that. The remaining players began playing back at Rigby more, including one wild hand that saw Justin Donato hero call for half of his remaining stack on the river with king-high and win.
Donato pulled nearly even with Rigby at one point, and Rigby admitted he felt things possibly slipping away.
"I tightened up toward the end," he said. "The impact of one of them doubling through me started to get a lot bigger."
He was able to right the ship. A key flip helped as Rigby's tens held against Donato's ace-king. He finished Craig Welko off in short order and was soon taking winner's photos.
Welko had a great week in his own right, winning a RunGood ring in a preliminary event before the second-place result.
Still, it was Rigby's day on the big stage, and he said he has a busy poker schedule coming up. He plans to play some smaller upcoming events but also has an exciting stop ahead at WPT Bay 101, where he has the distinction of being one of the Shooting Star bounties.
