888poker's flagship weekly tournament, the $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event, surpassed its guarantee for the second consecutive week, thanks to 1,027 entrants creating a $102,700 prize pool. The largest prize from that pot tipped the scales at $17,216, but that princely sum went to the runner-up, not the eventual champion.

The four-figure field was whittled to the eight-handed final table on Day 1. 888poker ambassador Ian "Simpioni" Simpson was among the starting field. The popular streamer made another deep run, which ended in a 27th-place finish worth $345, including bounties.

Kazakhstan's "PivoSolver" reached the final table with a colossal chip lead. They sat down on Day 2 with 151 big blinds, almost twice as many as "noWHATfella" in second place, whose war chest contained 87 big blinds. Not only were they the leader, but they had also opened a mystery bounty envelope containing $1,000 and another with the $10,000 jackpot bounty inside!

The first elimination was confirmed mere minutes into the final table's action. "Berghugo" raised from middle position with ten-nine and called the short-stacked three-bet shove of "hurley640" made from the big blind with ace-jack. A nine on the flop sent "hurley640" to the rail.

A huge hand occurred ten minutes later, one that resulted in another early exit and the chip stacks' dynamic changing. "noWHATfella" min-raised from early position, "Missya22" thee-bet from the big blind, only for the initial raiser to four-bet. "Missya22" called, and it was off to a seven-eight-six flop showing two diamonds. "Missya22" moved all-in for a pot-sized bet and was quickly called. The at-risk player showed pocket nines in the hole, which were against a pair of kings. The turn and river bricked, "Missya22" busted and "noWHATfella" climbed to within a handful of chips of the chip leader.

"KeepItSecret" was the next to fal,l followed by "Berghugo" in fifth. Despite being second in chips at the start of four-handed play, "noWHATfella" busted in fourth. They initially completed the small blind with ace-eight of spades before three-bet ripping in 27 big blinds after "MadeByML" raised from the big blind. "MadeByML" snap-called with pocket kings, which flopped a set and sent "noWHATfella" on his merry way.

Denmark's "MadeByML" sat at the final table second-last in chips and was now the chip leader with only three players remaining. However, the Dane's wheels fell off, and nothing went their way. Eventually, when down to only four big blinds, "MadeByML" shoved from the small blind with queen-jack and lost a coinflip against "PivoSolver"'s pocket deuces. "MadeByML" paired their jack on the turn and improved to trips on the river, but it was for nothing as "PivoSolver" had flopped a set then improved to a full house.

"raw_dawg" went into the one-on-one battle with "PivoSolver", holding a 48.2 to 28.8 big blind lead, and they never relinquished that advantage. The heads-up match was over almost as quickly as it began, with "PivoSolver" min-raising on the button with pocket deuces then jamming for 27 big blinds after "raw_dawg" three-bet. "raw_dawg" called the shove with pocket sevens, which held on a king-high board.
