Table Of Contents
The next RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Grand Prix stop is just around the corner, and it will take place in Pennsylvania.
Action begins in the 10-ring series Sept. 16, with the festivities concluding Sept. 21 at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville, PA. The series includes a $50,000 guaranteed Main Event that will be live reported by PokerNews.
Penn National is an iconic horse race track that hosts major races each year, including the Penn Mile and Penn Oaks. The venue, which boasts an 11-table card room, will shift its focus to tournament poker in just two weeks.
RGPS Series Highlights
Mid-stakes tournament poker at Hollywood Casino starts exactly two weeks from today. It all begins with a $200 Seniors Ring event, a no-limit hold'em tournament for those aged 50 and above. Opening Day features three ring events, including Day 1a of the $400 Deepstack, which features a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Day 1b will take place the following day, and those who bag on either flight will come back to play it down to a winner on Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. The schedule includes two bounty events — both of the no-limit hold'em variety — and one non-NLH tournament, which is the $300 Pot Limit Omaha Ring Event at noon on Sept. 19.
The biggest tournament of them all is the $800 Main Event, fully equipped with a $50,000 minimum prize pool. Day 1a starts at 5 p.m. on Sept. 19. Day 1b (noon) and Day 1c (5 p.m.) will take place on Sept. 20, with the finale set for noon on Sept. 21, the final day of the series. Players in the Main Event will receive 30,000 starting chips and play 30-minute blind levels until registration closes after Level 8. The blind levels will then increase to 40 minutes the rest of the way.
RunGood's Grand Prix Series stop in the Keystone Stone will close things out with the $250 Closer NLH Ring Event at 5 p.m. on the final day. You can catch all the Main Event action from start to finish right here at PokerNews.
