On Friday, October 3rd, Hustler Casino Live brought another episode of High Stakes Poker, bringing a stacked lineup led by poker vloggers Rampage and Mariano Grandoli, with Nik Airball in the mix. The night was wild from start to finish, with multiple showdowns between vloggers Rampage and Mariano stealing the spotlight.

Roller Coaster Start for Rampage

Rampage wasted no time getting into the action, finding himself all in during two of the first hands of the night. In the first, he chopped a pot with Dimitri after flopping a straight against Dimitri’s flopped flush draw.

But, the very next hand there would be blood, as Turbo opened to $1,400 from the small blind with AK after Big Mike straddled and Rampage put on the double staddle. Big Mike called with 54, before Rampage three-bet to $6,400 holding AQ. Turbo quickly shoved all in, and once Big Mike folded, Rampage snap-called for his $21,225 stack. The board ran out J73K7, clean for Turbo’s AK, giving him a near double-up to start the night and leaving Rampage reaching for a second bullet as the session was just beginning.

However, despite the rough start, it only took a few hands for Rampage to get back to even, this time thanks to a cooler against Airball. Airball opened to $300 on the button with 53, Big Mike called from the small blind with A2, and Rampage defended the big blind with 108. The flop came 764. Big Mike checked, and Rampage led out for a $500 donk bet into Airball, who had flopped a straight. Airball just called, and Big Mike got out of the way. The 9 on the turn gave Rampage the nuts with a higher straight, and he fired $1,500, which Airball again called.

The river brought the Q, completing the front-door flush. Rampage checked, giving Airball a chance to get away easy, but instead Airball shoved all in for Rampage’s $17,400 stack, more than 3x the pot. Rampage snap-called, and just as quickly as he lost his first bullet, he was right back to even.

Rampage Folded What?!

Still within the first hour of the stream, it looked like Rampage was about to be involved another massive pot. Turbo, with the straddle on, opened to $900 holding QQ, and Rampage woke up with AK in the small blind, three-betting to $4,500. Both players were deep-stacked, and Turbo responded with a small four-bet to $11,000.

Rampage paused for a moment, then laughed and said, “I’ve never folded this hand pre-flop in my life,” before tossing the ace-king into the muck, much to the shock of the announcer. When he revealed what he had folded to the table, Turbo exclaimed, “F**k, I need to jam more against you!” Nik Airball, seemingly stunned, added, “You folded ace-king?! No you did not. That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard, bro.”

Rampage Folds Ace-King

Just a few hands later, with the table still buzzing from Rampage’s fold, Rampage found himself in another clash, this time with HCL favorite Francisco. Big Mike opened 75 from middle position, and Rampage called in the hijack with 88. Francisco then looked down at AQ and launched a massive three-bet to $4,800. Big Mike folded, and Rampage responded with a four-bet all-in for Francisco’s stack of $22,700. Francisco made the call, and the players agreed to run it once.

The board came 9J646, keeping Rampage ahead and leaving Francisco the latest scrambling for another bullet.

The Airball Show

Nik Airball

After the wild start ride to the stream, Rampage took a back seat (for now), but the action wouldn’t slow down a bit from there, as only a few minutes later we saw another huge all-in pot, this time between Nik Airball and Big Mike, and let’s just say neither hand was exactly premium.

Action kicked off when Dimitri limped under the gun with A10, Turbo made it $500 in middle position with KJ, and Airball decided to crank it up with a three-bet holding K8. Big Mike wasn’t backing down though, and he fired in a four-bet with A6. Dimitri and Turbo got out of the way, and before you could blink, Airball ripped it all in. Big Mike snap-called for his $15,200 stack, and suddenly the two were off to the races. The flop came Q23, keeping Big Mike in the lead with ace high, but giving Airball a ton of outs with the flush draw and two live cards. The turn 7 didn’t change a thing, but the river J brought the flush in for Airball, and just like that Big Mike was in for another bullet.

A bit later, still with non-stop action, Airball again found himself in two huge hands back-to-back. First, he got a gift from Dimitri, who opened to $1,600 from the button with AJ, which Airball then decided to three-bet A10 from the big blind to $4,000, and Dimitri called to see the 2610 flop. Airball bet $4,000, Dimitri called, and the turn brought the 10. Airball checked, Dimitri jammed, and Airball snap-called, leaving Dimitri drawing dead.

Just moments later, it folded to Airball on the button, and he opened to $300 with 75. Big Mike three-bet to $1,300 with QQ, and Airball called. The flop came 377, giving Airball trips. Big Mike continued for $1,300, and Airball raised to $3,000, which Big Mike called. The 2 landed on the turn, and after Airball bet $4,200, Big Mike called again. The river brought the 6, and after Big Mike checked, Airball jammed, Big Mike snap-called, sending his $16,500 stack over to Airball.

With the action finally starting to slow down a bit, the next big encounter came between Airball and Dimitri once again, as Airball stacked his opponent for the second time. Dimitri’s stack of $18,400 went Airball's way after his eights held up in a preflop flip against Dimitri’s Ace-Queen.

As the players approached the end of the second hour, the bounty game heated up. Airball, with two markers already down, decided to open-jam AK from the hijack with his table-covering stack. The table quickly folded around to Mariano in the big blind, who snap-called with 99 for $44,500, setting up a nearly $90,000 flip. Needing to improve, Airball’s hot streak continued when the board ran out KQ3Q4, stacking Marino and winning the bounty game as well.

Mariano Gets the Best of Rampage

Mariano Grandoli

The next big encounter featured two of the most popular vloggers in the poker world, Rampage and Mariano. The action started when it folded to Big Mike in the cutoff, who limped in with 97, before Rampage raised to $1,400 with KK. Mariano in the big blind, looked down at JJ and three-bet to $7,000, forcing Big Mike out of the way. Rampage decided to set the trap and just called.

The flop came 676, and Mariano continued with an $8,000 bet, which Rampage again just called. After the 6 on the turn, giving both players a full house, Mariano jammed for Rampage’s remaining stack of $25,525, which Rampage snap-called. The 10 river changed nothing, giving Rampage a massive double-up and an over $80K pot, while Mariano, who was off to a rough start, added on another bullet.

Around the halfway point of the night the two found themselves squaring off for Round 2, in the biggest pot of the session to this point. With the double straddle on once again, it folded to Nik Airball in the small blind, who raised to $2,000 with KJ. Rampage called from the big blind with AJ, as did Francisco with 55. Mariano, in the second straddle, decided to squeeze with a huge three-bet to $15,000 holding 84. Airball folded, Rampage called, and Francisco bowed out, setting up a heads-up clash between the vloggers once again.

The flop came Q48, giving Mariano bottom two pair and Rampage the nut flush draw. The players wasted no time getting the money in the middle, as Mariano bet $12,000, Rampage moved all in for $64,700, and Mariano quickly called.

They initially agreed to run it twice, but Mariano changed his mind at the last second, saying, “Actually, let’s just go once.” It proved to be a great decision for Mariano, as the 4 turn completed Rampage’s flush, but also gave Mariano a full house, sending a much-needed $163,500 pot his way after a tough start to the night.

About 45 minutes later, the two vloggers found themselves in another massive pot, for the third time. Big Mike opened from the cutoff with J5, only to face a three-bet of $1,800 from Rampage on the button holding AK. Mariano, in the big blind, looked down at QJ and squeezed with a four-bet to $8,800. Big Mike folded, and Rampage just called (not fold), to see a flop.

The 5410 flop missed both players, as Rampage called Mariano’s $10,000 bet. The 4 turn brought another barrel from Mariano, which Rampage called again for $38,000. With over $100,000 in the middle and neither player with a pair, the 6 river rolled out. Mariano fired one last bet of $60,000, and Rampage agonized for over two minutes before folding, letting Mariano steal the six-figure pot.

Rough Night for the Pro

As the night neared its end, Francisco “The Pro”’s session took a sharp downturn. It began when he called off a four-bet with pocket nines for his $53,475 stack, only to run into Big Mike’s pocket queens, giving Mike a massive $107,300 pot.

Things went from bad to worse when Big Mike limped in from early position with K5, Rampage raised to $1,500 with 33 in the hijack, and Francisco smooth-called from the cutoff with pocket kings. Mariano also called with Q10 from the button, but Turbo in the big blind found AA and three-bet to $9,000. Big Mike folded, Rampage called, and Francisco four-bet all-in for $49,000. After a brief pause trying to rope Rampage in, Turbo called, and once Rampage did fold, Turbo left Francisco with nothing to say but his trademark phrase, “That’s poker,” as the 9Q5A7 board sent a $108,800 pot to Turbo.

With the stream winding down, Francisco’s next bullet dwindled to $22,150. He got it all-in, in a flip with KQ against Airball’s 99. Francisco hit a queen, but the Q910AA runout gave Airball a full house, leaving Francisco with is final bullet. Finally, Francisco called it quits after jamming preflop with ace-king for $19,500, only to be called by Big Mike holding 84, who turned a flush, leaving Francisco drawing dead and heading to the exit.

Rampage Finishes as the Biggest Loser as Airball and Mariano Win Big

As the night came to an end and losing multiple sizable pots to Big Mike in the final hour of the show, Rampage found himself as the biggest loser on the night, down over $215,000, with Francisco not fair behind, down $186,000. At the other end of the spectrum, Turbo was the big winner at the end of the show, up $140,600, while Mariano and Airball both booked over 100K wins as well, $113,600 for Airball and $112,975 for Mariano, at the end of a wild action packed show.
