Jeremy JBOOGs Levin

Jeremy “JBoogs” Levin suffered two cruel beats within a 45-minute window that would leave any poker player questioning their life choices.

First, he ran the second nuts into a straight flush, and then flopped the nut flush only to get pipped by a rivered full house, all during the Hustler Casino Live $25/$50 ante cash game.

It was pure pain from start to finish as one of the sickest coolers you’ll ever see unfolded.

Cold Deck Delivers Brutal Cooler

JBoogs K9 opened to $300 from under the gun, and the parade of callers began. Big Mike A7, Dr. H K8, Britney J8, Mike X 43, and Sashimi J7 all came along before the blinds folded.

Big Mike paired his ace to make the best hand on the AJ5 flop, while Levin and Mike X both picked up flush draws. Levin continued for $900, and the two Mikes were the only callers.

The 4 turn brought a small lifeline for Mike X, pairing his four, before Big Mike fired $3,000. Both opponents stuck around.

Then came the 2 river was the ultimate disaster card. Levin completed his ace-high flush, but Mike X hit the dream: a straight flush. After the action checked to him, Mike X bet $6,500. Levin, convinced he had the winner, raised to $20,000. Big Mike escaped, and Mike X shoved for it all. Levin called off his remaining $12,750 and immediately realized the nightmare.

The $79,050 pot was shipped to Mike X as Levin stood up, stunned.

“I f****** knew it. I had the nut flush,” he said, flashing his hand before pacing away from the table. “I knew he had it when he reraised, he can’t have anything else.”

Still hot-mic’d on his way to the cage, Levin shared the bad-beat story to a passerby:

“I just lost the sickest hand maybe I’ve ever lost in my life.”

Flopped Nuts No Good

Levin returned with $20,000 and quickly turned that into $34,000 as he looked to climb out of the hole. But any momentum was short-lived as the deck delivered another sickener for the HCL regular.

The entire table had wagered $100 preflop, bringing in the AQ7 flop. Levin K6 flopped a flush that couldn’t lose to another flush but Sashimi Q7 had two pair for the only realistic hand that could still catch up.

It checked to Sashimi, who bet $600, and Levin called from the next seat. Adi 82 and Kevin A5 also came along, while the rest of the table got out of the way.

Sashimi sized up to $3,000 on the K turn, and Levin continued to just call with his flopped monster. Adi and Kevin folded.

The Q river paired the board to give Sashimi queens full of sevens, and leave Levin’s king-high flush second best yet again.

“These runouts are so insane,” groaned Levin as Sashimi overbet $12,000 into $9,225. “Just another hand I don’t think I can fold.”

He tossed in the calling chips, only to see the bad news once more.

“Every f****** time,” steamed Levin as he turned over his hand in frustration.

Session Wrap-Up

Sometimes it’s just not your day. Levin limited the damage to just over $5,000 after rallying back from the two brutal coolers, but he’ll no doubt be walking away thinking he should’ve been well up.

Britney topped the session with $140,675 in profit, while Mike X rode that straight-flush pot to finish with $102,575. Adi also ended in the green with $21,400.

It was a rougher night for Pipi, who dropped $142,725, with Big Mike and Dr. H also finishing deep in the red.
