RGPS Grand Prix San Diego Will Include $150,000 Guaranteed Main Event

The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is heading West for the RGPS Grand Prix San Diego stop at Jamul Casino.
The RGPS Grand Prix San Diego stop will take place Nov. 18-23 with over $200,000 in guaranteed prize pools, culminating with the $600 Main Event with a $150,000 guarantee. PokerNews will be on-site in San Diego to live report the Main Event action.

Action at Jamul Casino will kick off on Nov. 17 with a $200 Seniors Ring Event with a $7,500 guarantee, followed later that evening by a $200 Series Opener Ring Event with a $5,000 guarantee and a $200 Ambassador Bounty Ring Event with a $10,000 guarantee.
Next up on the schedule is a $300 Deepstack Ring Event with a $25,000 guarantee and two starting flights before Day 2 on Nov. 20, the same day as a $300 Tag Team NLH Ring Event ($150/player) with a $5,000 guarantee.
The main draw of the series, the $150,000 guaranteed Main Event, starts on Nov. 21 with the first of three starting flights. The $600 buy-in event will then play to a winner on Nov. 23.
Other highlights from the series include a $300 Black Chip Bounty Ring Event with a $10,000 guarantee and a $200 Series Closer NLH Ring Event with a $5,000 guarantee that will close out the series.
Last Time in San Diego
The RGPS team was at Jamul Resort just weeks ago for the RGPS San Diego Poker Classic $600 Main Event, which drew 375 entries for a prize pool of $195,000.
Sebastian Acevedo won the title and $33,216 after a three-way chop with James Kozono and David Fernandez Sanchez, while the final table also included Tolga Gesli (6th - $7,703), Silas Tooley (5th - $9,302) and Patrick Wamsley (4th - $12,071).
