2025 GUKPT Grand Final

The 2025 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is currently in the seaside town of Blackpool, where the £1,250 Main Event champion will become known on November 9. Less than two weeks after that champion lifts the winner's trophy, the season-ending GUKPT Grand Final bursts into life at the luxurious Grosvenor The Victoria casino in London.

Last year's Grand Final took place in Luton due to The Victoria undergoing a £15 million refurbishment. While the staff in Luton did a tremendous job of hosting the GUKPT's flagship festival, the return to its spiritual home inside The Victoria is a move welcomed by all.

November 20 marks the start of the 2025 GUKPT Grand Final, where the first event is set to shuffle up and deal. Day 1a, the first of four flights in the £750 Midi Main gets things underway from noon, followed by a £250 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha 4/5/6 Card one-day tournament. When the GUKPT was last in London in July, 264 players bought into the £750 Midi Main. Israel's Roni Tal outlasted them all and walked away with £36,650 for his efforts.

Other events to look forward to include the £1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller, the £340 Mini Main, the £2,500 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller, and, of course, the £2,000 GUKPT Grand Final Main Event.

£500,000 Guaranteed GUKPT Grand Final Main Event

The £500,000 guaranteed GUKPT Grand Final Main Event is the tournament everyone is heading to London this November. Not only does it offer the largest prize pool of the festival, but it is also the most prestigious. Taking down to the GUKPT Grand Final Main Event sees the champion write their name into the tour's history books.

Mike Ellis triumphed at the inaugural event all the way back in 2007. Since then, such luminaries as Paul Foltyn, former soccer star Tony Cascarino, Fabian Quoss, Sam Grafton, Kevin Allen, Charlie Carrel, and Paul Vas Nunes have all emerged victoriously. Benjamin Winsor is the only player to have won two GUKPT Grand Final Main Events, achieving this in 2015 and again in 2019.

Ireland's Niall Campbell is the reigning champion. Campbell came out on top in Luton 12 months ago, leaving 366 opponents in his wake as he padded his bankroll with a career-best £89,000. The Irishman defeated Kully Sidhu heads-up, resigning him to a £66,200 consolation prize.
