Three Events to Watch

Everyone in the online poker industry knows that Sundays are the biggest and busiest days of the week. Online poker sites run tournaments with the juiciest guarantees on the final week day, giving you the chance to win big as the weekend draws to a close. You're spoilt for choice if you want to play for big bucks online on December 7, but PokerNews suggests you flick in the buy-ins for this trio of MTTs at 888poker, PokerStars, and WPT Global.

$100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event at 888poker

The $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event is 888poker's flagship weekly tournament. Costing $109 to enter, unless you win your way in via one of the many cut-price satellites, the Mystery Bounty Main Event boasts a $10,000 jackpot bounty.

Cards are in the air from 6:00 p.m. GMT on December 7. Regardless of whether you buy in directly or win your seat, you'll sit down with 15,000 chips and play to a 12-minute clock where the blinds start at 30/60/7a. Blinds extend to 15 minutes once the final table is reached.

888poker permits unlimited re-entries for the first 209 minutes. The mystery bounties enter the mix from level 18 onward, with Day 1 wrapping up when only eight players remain.

Those eight finalists return to their seats at 7:00 p.m. GMT on December 8. 888poker streams the final table's action on its Twitch channel, with PokerNews recapping the action. This could be your chance to shine under the spotlight.

$400,000 Guaranteed BSOP Online Sunday Special Mystery Edition at PokerStars

PokerStars' Brazilian Series Of Poker (BSOP) Online festival has proven popular with players from around the world, and that popularity is set to increase on December 7 with the $75 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Max Sunday Special Mystery Edition kicking off at 6:05 p.m. GMT.

Although this event only costs $75 to enter, PokerStars has slapped a $400,000 guarantee on its prize pool. Entrants start their quest for BSOP Online glory with 50,000 chips. Blinds start at 125/250/30a, increasing every 15 minutes for the first 12 levels before reducing to 12-minute levels for the next 20 levels, then returning to 15-minute blinds until the tournament concludes.

Up to five re-entries are permitted during the first 3.5 hours of play, meaning bagging yourself some additional bullets via satellites is worthwhile. Those satellites are available with buy-in levels of $1.10, $2.20, $5.50, $11, and $22. Two $11 buy-in satellites, running at 6:05 p.m. GMT and 8:05 p.m. GMT on December 6, each have 100x $75 seats guaranteed. The $11 buy-in satellite at 4:05 p.m. GMT on December 7 boasts a 200x $75 seat guarantee!

$100,000 Guaranteed Sunday Slam Mystery Bounty at WPT Global

Last, but not least, is the $100,000 guaranteed Sunday Slam Mystery Bounty at WPT Global. Although this event costs $110 to enter, you could play in it for free if you're new to the delights of WPT Global; more on that shortly.

This tournament shuffles up and deals at 6:00 p.m. GMT on December 7, with every entrant heading to battle with a 25,000 starting stack. Blinds start at 100/200/30a, increasing every 12 minutes until a champion is crowned.

Mystery bounties come into play once the money bubble bursts, and WPT Global estimates it will take approximately 10 hours from the initial shuffle up and deal until a worthy champion emerges.

$11 satellites are currently available for this event. However, the satellite, starting at 4:40 p.m. GMT on December 7, represents the best value, not least because it has 20 guaranteed $110 seats.

If you are a new WPT Global customer, you could be playing in the $110 Sunday Slam Mystery Bounty for free.
