Comedian Kevin Hart Headlines the Upcoming Season 15 of High Stakes Poker
Table Of Contents
PokerGO wet everyone's appetite for Season 15 of High Stakes Poker last month with a livestream that produced numerous insane hands, content that may appear in a future season. But the main course is about to be served in the form of 17 traditional edited episodes of poker's most iconic cash game show.
The new season kicks off Dec. 23, exclusively on PokerGO, and will feature some regulars, such as Jennifer Tilly and Andrew Robl, some newbies, including comedian Kevin Hart, and the return of an old-school HSP legend, Antonio Esfandiari.
Longtime High Stakes Poker commentator AJ Benza is back with his partner, Nick Schulman, who replaced the original voice of the show, Gabe Kaplan, during Season 10 in 2023.
There will be one major change to the upcoming season, and that is PokerGO will drop all episodes at once next Tuesday, as opposed to its traditional method of releasing one episode per week.
What to Expect from High Stakes Poker Season 15
Everything is set up for dozens of massive pots to occur during Season 15. The lineups feature action players who are heavily bankrolled and aren't afraid to pull off a six-figure — and even seven-figure — bluff. The blinds will range from $200/$400 to $500/$1,000, and poker fans can expect regular straddles, creating nosebleed-stakes games.
The season starts with Hart, a former PokerStars ambassador who competed in the Super High Roller Bowl in 2017, battling in a $500/$1,000 game against Robl, DoorDash co-founder Stanley Tang, and Sam "Senor Tilt" Kiki, who has become one of the most popular high-stakes regulars on Hustler Casino Live. Sameh Elamaway, a wealthy entrepreneur who was the star of the show during Season 14, will also join what figures to be an explosive season opener.
Justin Gavri, arguably the unluckiest player in High Stakes Poker history, enters the game for Episode 5. But, according to the PokerGO preview, Hart is the star of that show and wins a $900,000 pot.
Esfandiari, the $1 million buy-in WSOP Big One for One Drop winner in 2012, makes his long-awaited return to High Stakes Poker on Episode 6. Tilly, a fan favorite for many years on the show, makes her Season 15 debut in Episode 13. The polarizing Nik "Airball" Arcot gets in the mix during Episode 15.
Recapping Season 14
Season 15 should be memorable, but will it top Season 14, arguably the best season of High Stakes Poker? We'll all have to watch and find out next week. PokerGO's most recent season wrapped back in April with Alan Keating headlining the action.
Keating, who is not on the roster of players for the upcoming season, won the largest pot in High Stakes Poker history — $1,412,500 — when his pocket kings held up against his Hustler Casino Live nemesis, Peter Wang, who flopped the nut flush draw.
Viewers will also recall a few hands in which the unpredictable Rick Salomon, he of Paris Hilton sex tape fame, blasted off some of the largest pots ever on the show, including a $1 million hand with a missed flush draw against Senor Tilt's top pair.
A few popular players who competed during last season won't be back in action, including Keating, Salomon, Phil Hellmuth, and Jared Bleznick. But the lineups for Season 15 are stacked, and the poker community is just days away from being able to binge watch it all on PokerGO.
