Greek Poker Odyssea Brings Sun, Sea & Poker to Thessaloniki This June
Table Of Contents
It famously took Odysseus ten years to return to Ithaca after the Trojan War, but had Novibet’s Greek Poker Odyssea (GPO) been running at the luxury Regency Casino Thessaloniki, you suspect he might have found a reason to tack on another ten days.
Running June 10–19, 2026, the festival brings world-class poker action to Greece with an estimated €1,000,000 in total prize pools. And unlike Odysseus, there’s no need to battle a Cyclops or skirt past the Sirens to get involved.
Headlined by a €1,000 Main Event, the schedule runs through ten days in Thessaloniki and gradually ramps up from early satellites and opening side events into the festival’s main attractions.
Across the week there are multiple flighted tournaments, including the Mini Main Event and Monsterstack Mystery Bounty, plus a steady mix of PLO, turbo, and knockout formats keeping the tables busy throughout.
The closing stretch brings the focus onto the Main Event, High Roller and final side events, with the biggest titles of the series decided right at the end. Check out the full schedule below:

Key Events to Look Out For
Aside from the €1,000 Main Event, there’s a packed supporting schedule offering plenty of other spots worth targeting throughout the series.
From bounty formats and mixed games to big-field deepstacks and turbo side events, there’s no shortage of action across the ten days in Thessaloniki.
Some of the key events worth noting include:
- €500 Mini Main Event across multiple Day 1 flights
- €400 Monsterstack Mystery Bounty with two full days of play
- €2,000 High Roller featuring a two-day structure
- €250 Beat the Pros PKO opening event
- Regular satellite action from €115 and €230 feeding the Main Event and Mini Main
- PLO and mixed-game side events, including fast-paced hyper turbos
- Ladies Event with added prize pool support
All told, it’s a top schedule that offers something for every type of player.

Meet the Organizers: Novibet
The Greek Poker Odyssea is organized in partnership with Novibet, a Greece-founded online gaming operator that has expanded across a number of European markets.
Alongside its sportsbook and casino offering, Novibet is also established in the poker world, and there are a number of satellites running on the site to the GPO, and other sites on the iPoker network.
Online Satellites Running Now
Players can qualify for the €1,000 Main Event through a series of satellites running on the iPoker Network up until early June, offering multiple ways into the festival.
From April 27 to June 1, a mix of weekly and monthly multi-flight events will award package seats, with regular €150 qualifiers guaranteeing multiple €2,300 packages across the schedule. Each cycle features Day 1 flights leading into Sunday night Day 2 finishes.
There are also alternative qualification routes, including a step-satellite ladder starting from low-stakes centrolls and progressing through €0.60, €3, €15 and €150 stages, as well as a mission-based option that unlocks higher buy-in tickets through consistent play.
Each €2,300 package includes a €1,000 Main Event seat, hotel accommodation at the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, transfers, resort access and €295 in spending money.
Alongside the package route, separate €75 online satellites will continue to award direct Main Event seats right up until the start of the festival, keeping qualification open right through the build-up.
