A couple hours into the Hustler Casino Live stream at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) on Friday, a regular on the show mysteriously disappeared from the game.

Britney, the player in question, had her chips removed from the table out of nowhere. She was on the stream one minute and then gone the next, without any announcement or explanation from commentators Alan Keating and Brent Hanks. But the stream went to a promotional graphic for a minute, then returned to action without Britney in the game.

What Happened?

Nik Airball and another player at the table briefly discussed what had happened, but didn't go into detail.

"You didn't know what happened? Casino says they changed their mind," Airball said, referring to Britney's situation.

Airball mentioned that Britney had originally been cleared to play in the high-stakes cash game, which took place in Las Vegas instead of the usual Hustler Casino in Los Angeles. But, as PokerNews learned from an HCL source, she was removed from the game due to a "compliance" issue.

Britney had a rough session, losing an early huge pot with top pair to Ethan "Rampage" Yau, who flopped trips. She later went all in for $25,000 with nine-five offsuit and lost, and another hand was all in preflop with king-rag for a $150,000 pot that didn't go her way.

PokerNews confirmed the issue stems from Britney buying into the game with a large sum of cash, as opposed to wiring money to the casino. The WSOP is cracking down on permitting players to enter high-stakes tournaments, and apparently cash games, with cash instead of using other options such as LuxonPay or bank wire.

Britney was initially asked by a staffer at the cashier's cage to get a check from another casino and bring it back to Paris, which she did. She was then approved to play. But after she lost a bunch, a compliance officer decided she had to leave until they could do some research on her background.

Poker pro Andrew Moreno recently ran into a similar situation, which he shared on X.

Hustler Casino Live hosted its first of six high-stakes cash games Friday at the 2026 WSOP, which includes the show's signature Million Dollar Game on June 12.

After Britney's chips were picked up, the game continued with Airball and Rampage spinning up stacks.
