When "KuCoH" of Belarus, Brazil's "malakaio300," and Denmark's "dillerfar19" bought into a $5 Spin & Go, the prize pool selector stopped on the ultra-rare 240,000x!
This meant that the three PokerStars players were about to battle for the lion's share of a $1.2 million prize pool. They would take home $80,000 even if they were the first player out the door. According to the PokerStars Blog, "KuCoH" was the first player eliminated. They lost some chips early into the tournament before calling an all-in with king-seven after "malakaio300" had moved all-in with jack-deuce. A deuce landed on the community cards and "KuCoH" was gone, albeit with $80,000 more in their PokerStars account than a few minutes prior.
That elimination locked in $120,000 for the now heads-up duo. Brazilian "malakaio300" rode their early momentum into a 2:1 chip lead, but the lead changed hands when "malakaio300" ripped it in with pocket fives and "dillerfar19" called with king-queen. A few moments later, "dillerfar19" had improved to trip kings and was back in business.
The lead changed hands again before "dillerfar19" edged themselves in front once more.
The final and all-important hand saw "malakaio300" look down at king-eight on the button and move all-in. "dillerfar19" called with pocket sevens; a coinflip would decide who would capture the $1 million top prize.
"dillerfar19" hit a set on a seven-high flop, leaving "malalakio300" needing running cards. A jack on the turn left the Brazilian drawing dead, with another seven needlessly improving the freshly minted millionaire to four-of-a-kind.
