Table Of Contents

Eleven tournaments across five numbered Spooky Season events have crowned their champions online at PokerStars, and it is Bulgaria's "viko042" who has claimed the largest prize so far.

"viko042" was one of 3,805 entrants in Episode 02-M: $75 NLHE Spooky Season Sunday Special PKO. When the dust settled, the Bulgarian grinder was the last player standing and the recipient of $29,069 of the $259,424 prize pool.

The prize that "viko042" collected was slightly more than the $28,932 they banked for winning a Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) event in 2022. On that occasion, they won the $55 NLHE 7-Max Midweek Freeze, topping a field of 4,048 competitors.

The 2013 European Poker Tour (EPT) London champion Robin Ylitalo reached the nine-handed final table but was the first player sent packing. He secured a $2,766 payout, including bounties.

The finalists continued falling by the wayside, with "antonismad," "EddyTrey," and "vse0k" bowing out and leaving only five hopefuls in the hunt for the title.

Fifth place and $5,684 went to "JulianWang92," with Belarusian "Persedon1" banking $7,355 for their fourth-place finish.

The remaining trio of poker stars was now guaranteed a five-figure prize for their efforts. Finland's "VakioAsso" was the first of those three players to receive such a prize; they banked $12,575 after falling in third.

Heads-up pitted "viko042" against Argentinian "Rexilionex." Both players secured a regular prize pool of at least $15,463, with the final progressive bounties totaling more than $13,000.

"viko042" got the job done and their hands on a total prize worth $29,069, leaving the runner-up to scoop $16,436, which gives them plenty of ammunition for the remainder of the Spooky Season.
