888poker has released the fourth part of its 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event documentary, which started by following five 888poker ambassadors as they attempted to become poker's world champion.
Ian Simpson's journey ended in Part 2, leaving Aaron Barone, Nick Eastwood, Lucia Navarro, and Vivian Saliba flying the 888poker flag going into Day 2 of the WSOP Main Event after enjoying a deserved day off from the grind.
Part 4 begins with the players heading to their seats to battle on Day 2 of the 2026 WSOP Main Event. Having finished his Day 1 with 76,400 chips, Barone was in a confident mood at the start of the second day and was ready to add to his stack."
"Day 2 is the least pressured day of the entire series, I guess. Because on Day 1 you really want to make it through and after that the pressure ratchets up," Barone explained. "Today just feels chill, people are still happy to be here, and I know it’s a good day just to go for it. Take your spots, try to chip up, and that's what I'm gonna do."
Not the Best of Starts for Team 888
The camera crew caught up with the four grinders after they completed the first of five scheduled levels. Everyone had lost chips during the day's first level, with Eastwood dropping to 41,000 from his 56,300 starting point.
"That did not go very well at all. I got three-bet every single time that I opened and just had to fold."
Eastwood explained to Barone that his table was soft, but he found himself having to continually fold. Barone gave his teammate some sage advice.
"You're going to be annoyed, naturally; you won't know if they have it. Based on what you've said about the players, it's most likely that they did have it, and nothing really changes. You've got 40 big blinds when you go back, which is more than enough to open and call three-bets. You're still in a great spot to be able to do everything you want to do."
Eastwood and Saliba Sent to the Rail
Although he took on Barone's tips, Eastwood crashed by the wayside just before the next break. Eastwood got his stack in with pocket aces on a nine-eight-six board showing two diamonds. His opponent held pocket sevens with a diamond, and he turned a set. The river gave Eastwood's opponent an unnecessary full house, and it was GG for Easty.
Saliba was the next 888poker ambassador heading for the exits. The Brazilian got her last 21 big blinds into the middle of the table while holding ace-queen. Unfortunately for Saliba and her legion of fans, her opponent had the dominating ace-king in his hand. His Big Slick became trip kings on the flop and a full house by the river.
"I did what I could. In the end, it's just a poker tournament," said a disappointed Saliba. "We bust more than we don't. It's a tournament with almost 10,000 runners, it's Day 2, and this tournament takes 8-9 days."
Four Sat Down, Two Advance to Day 3
Day 2 ended with only two 888poker ambassadors bagging up chips. Barone finished on an impressive 237,000 from his 76,400 start-of-day stack, while Navarro had a rollercoaster of a day that finished with her on 94,000 chips from a 128,500 start.
Navarro was confident of making a deep run now that she had advanced to Day 3.
"I'm going to make it. This year, at least to the money. I'm gonna make it, I know it!"
See if Navarro does indeed make it into the 2026 WSOP Main Event money places when 888poker releases Part 5 of its excellent documentary on September 4.
