North Florida will be the place to be later this month when the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) heads to Jacksonville.
The RGPS Golden Expedition at bestbet Jacksonville, one of the top card rooms in the Sunshine State, features 11 ring events in 10 days. Tournament action kicks off Oct. 21, and the series will reach its conclusion Nov. 1.
PokerNews will head to bestbet for the Main Event, which starts Oct. 29.
What's in Store for the RGPS at bestbet?
There will plenty of shiny rings up for grabs, but also some big bucks at bestbet Jacksonville when the RunGood Poker Series strolls into town in a few weeks. It all starts with a $200 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em tournament Oct. 21.
The following day is the beginning of the $400 PokerNews PowerStack, with two opening flights, followed by two additional ones each day until the Day 2 finale Oct. 25. This No-Limit Hold'em tournament has a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
As always with the RGPS, there's a good mix of tournaments, giving every type of tournament player something to look forward to. For example, the $300 Big O/8 (Oct. 26) and $300 Double Board PLO/NLH (Oct. 27) events will attract the non-hold'em lovers. But there are also various forms of NLH, such as the aforementioned Ladies Event, a $100 Flip and Go running daily, and the big one — the Main Event.
Speaking of the RGPS Main Event, play starts Oct. 29 in this $1,200 tournament, which promises at least $300,000 in the pot. There are three Day 1 starting flights scheduled — Day 1a on the 29th, Day 1b on the 30th, and Day 1c on the 31st. Those who survive any of the Day 1 sessions with chips will come back to play it down to a winner on Nov. 1 at bestbet Jacksonville.
There are plenty of satellites running at the poker room leading up to the tournament. PokerNews will have you covered from start to finish with exclusive live reporting of the RGPS Main Event in Florida.
