The partypoker Weekly: Win Your Way to WPT Prague and Pokerfest: Micro Turbo Edition

Marcin Wydrowski

One of the most popular destinations on the World Poker Tour is Prague in the Czech Republic. The historical city is one of the most beautiful locations in the world and during the winter months it becomes even more so.

The players flock to Prague in December for the €3,300 buy-in Main Event and to do a spot of Christmas shopping, too. Last season, 597 players packed into the Kings Casino in the heart of Prague, creating a €1,683,990 prize pool as they did so. The lion’s share of that massive sum of money was awarded to Poland’s Marcin Wydrowski who walked away with €318,295 for his victory. This season it could be you who returns home with a gigantic cash haul if you qualify for WPT Prague at partypoker.

Until December 8, partypoker is hosting a number of feeder satellites that award seats to the weekly – Sunday at 2:25 ET – WPT Prague Satellite. This weekly event costs $325 to enter and awards one WPT Prague package for every $6,100 that is in the prize pool, meaning 1-in-20 wins a package.

Each package awards the winner:

  • The $4,360 buy-in to the WPT Prague Main Event
  • Six nights’ accommodation
  • $800 spending money

The last weekly satellite takes place on December 8 so you are rapidly running out of time should you want to qualify for WPT Prague. Hurry! You really don’t want to miss out on what is sure to be an amazing tournament.
