The 2025 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is right around the corner, and PokerStars is giving players of all bankrolls a chance to jump into the action.

Thanks to the Power Path Express WCOOP Edition, one $55 buy-in could land you a $10,300 WCOOP Main Event ticket and a shot at a slice of the $7 million guaranteed prize pools spread across both Main Events.

Three WCOOP Main Event Seats to be Won

The special one-off Power Path Express runs on Sunday, September 7 at 1:10 p.m. ET and is loaded with $200,000 worth of WCOOP tickets and Power Passes. Here’s what’s up for grabs:

  • 1st – 3rd place: $10,300 WCOOP Main Event High Ticket
  • 4th – 16th place: $2,500 Silver Pass
  • 17th – 50th place: $1,050 WCOOP Main Event Medium Ticket
  • 51st – 1000th place: $109 Bronze Pass

Silver and Bronze Passes can also be redeemed for WCOOP tickets or other online or live PokerStars events.

“The Power Path Express tournaments have been a very popular way for players to win their way to some of the most aspirational tournaments in online poker and WCOOP is no exception,” said Steve Clarricoats, Associate Director of Poker Operations at PokerStars. “WCOOP is not just for established tournament players: we’re always working to find ways for players of all levels, bankrolls and experience to take part.”

Running from September 7 to October 1, WCOOP will feature 378 tournaments across Low, Medium, and High buy-ins, guaranteeing more than $65 million in prize money. Buy-ins start at just $5.50, making it one of the most accessible world championship series in poker.

There will be 11 Championship Events, with the two $10,300 Main Events headlining the schedule. Together, those Main Events alone boast $7 million guaranteed.

Plenty of Ways to Qualify

Even if the Power Path Express isn’t your route, PokerStars is running plenty of other ways to qualify.

Satellites start from just $0.55, and there are dedicated Spin & Go qualifiers from $0.75. Every PokerStars player also gets a free $0.50 Power Path Step 1 ticket daily, offering a completely free shot to work your way toward WCOOP glory.

And don’t forget that every WCOOP tournament you play earns you a Lucky Dip score, putting you in with a chance of winning part of an added $500,000 worth of WCOOP tickets throughout the series.
