2025 WPT World Championship Festival Full Schedule

Poker players on WPT Global will have two opportunities to win a seat in the biggest poker event of the winter in Las Vegas — the 2025 WPT World Championship at Wynn.

The festival, now in its fourth iteration, runs from Dec. 2-22 at the luxurious Las Vegas Strip mega resort. Each year, the series has a number of major events, such as the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship (Dec. 7). But none is bigger than the main attraction, the $10,400 buy-in WPT World Championship, a tournament that could be won by you ... yes, you (if you play on WPT Global).

How to Become the Next Scott Stewart

Scott Stewart, a longtime successful poker pro, won the 2024 WPT World Championship at Wynn last December for $2,563,900, beating out 2,392 entrants. Those who play on the WPT Global online poker site have a chance to become the next WPT champion.

It all starts this Sunday, Nov. 23, with the first of two remaining $1,060 qualifying satellites to win a travel and poker package to Las Vegas next month. But you don't have to pay that amount to enter the qualifier. You can start satelliting your way up through feeder routes for as little as $1.10, $5, or $22. If you move all the way up the ladder and win that final qualifier, you'll be off to Sin City to compete in a high-stakes poker tournament that will be awarding a seven-figure prize.

WPT Global will host one final Sunday qualifying satellite next Sunday, Nov. 30. The winners will all receive a $12,400 WPT World Championship package that includes a $2,000 travel stipend and the $10,400 Main Event entry. The tournament runs Dec. 13-21 and features three Day 1 starting flights. Those who satellite in are at liberty to choose the Day 1 session they prefer.

If a package winner goes on to win the WPT World Championship, they will receive an added $100,000 Golden Ticket bonus.
