Biography

Jason Duong is a Canadian poker player who first became a WSOP champion at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Two years after finishing seventh in the same tournament, Duong won the $1,500 Limit Hold 'em event.

Duong plays poker recreationally, but he knows his way around a poker table. In November 2007, he finished second in a C$2,700 No-Limit Hold'em event for C$250,355, which remains his largest haul.

Although No-Limit Hold'em is game from which most of Duong's live results stem from, it is Limit Hold'em where he has enjoyed his deepest runs. Duong finished seventh in the $1,500 Limit Hold'em event at the 2024 WSOP for $18,196. He followed that up with a victory in the same $1,500 Limit Hold'em event at the 2025 WSOP two years later.
