Zachary Zaret is a Canadian poker player from Toronto, Ontario, best known for winning the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better event at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.
Zaret has competed at the WSOP since 2021. At the 2023 WSOP, Zaret cashed in the $10,000 Main Event for $22,500, his one and only five-figure haul prior to winning his bracelet. Zaret won the $1,500 PLO8 tournament at the 2025 WSOP for $248,245 and his first bracelet.
Speaking to PokerNews after his bracelet victory, Zaret revealed that he played online poker recreationally before trying his luck at live poker five years ago It was a shot that's reaped the rewards because he will always be a WSOP champion.
