PokerStars March 2010

2010 marked the debut of the North American Poker Tour, which made its first trip to the United States in February when it stopped at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

The Russian Poker Series came next in Kiev with a $688,215 prize pool. PokerStars’ client also introduced the ability for players to store their account balance in different currency, namely euros, British pounds, Canadian dollars and the American dollar (which was the default).

PokerStars launched a new show called The PokerStars Big Game in the United States, allowing players to qualify for the show online and view in-depth analyses of the game online.
