2025 WSOP Day 38: Isaac Haxton Leads $100K PLO Final Table; "Texas" Mike Among Fantasy Player to Bust Main Event

On Day 38 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Day 4 of Event #77: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship is down to the final four players from a 186-runner field, but none of them are fantasy players. Likewise, there are no fantasy players remaining on Day 3 of Event #78: $600 PokerNews Deepstack Championship.

Day 3 of Event #79: $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller is down to just seven players, including Isaac Haxton (Team BTG) and Shaun Deeb (Team Phenom), who sit first and second in chips, respectively. The other 25K Fantasy players still in contention are Arthur Morris (Team AJ’s Eagles), Alex Foxen (Team Money Mondays Podcast), and Phil Ivey (Team Glue Factory).

Event #82: $10,000 Eight Game Mixed Championship drew 166 runners on Day 1, with 75 of them advancing. Late registration is still open, so the final tally will go up, but among the fantasy players are ODB Bonus players Qiang Xu, who is the chip leader, and Nate Silver, who is third. Jon Turner (Team Negreanu) sits second in chips and will be joined by Aaron Kupin (Team Hoggers) and Brian Yoon (Team Hoggers), who round out the top five stacks.

On Day 34 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Event #70: $1,000 Ladies Championship will see the final table play down to a winner, but when it comes to fantasy implications, there are none to be had.

That isn’t the case, though, for Day 3 of Event #73: $1,500 Eight Game Mix, which is down to the final 14 players from a 789-entry field. Nicolas Milgrom (Team DPMD) and Xixiang Luo (Team Lady Gaga) still remain in that one; as well as, ODB Bonus player Scott Abrams.

Registration is still open into Day 2 of Event #74: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, which drew 793 runners on the first day. Of those, 294 players bagged including dozens of fantasy players such as Ben Lamb (Team Money Mondays Podcast), Robert Mizrachi (Team Splashy Octopi), Alex Foxen (Team Lady Gaga), Scott Bohlman (Team Brown’s Bargain Bin), and Kane Kalas (AJ’s Eagles), who all sit in the top 20 stacks.
