I Lost the Ruling, But I Won the Pot

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Anthony 'The Booky' Hardy just asked for a ruling after making a marginal call pre-flop when receiving what he perceived as the wrong information from the dealer. A player had moved all-in and the amount was said to be around the 28,000 mark.

Eventually, Hardy made the call, before then being informed it was for 33,300 and that changed how he looked at the bet. After the floor ruled it as an all-in bet that was his responsibility to check Hardy made the call and turned over {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. He was behind his opponent's {A-Spades}{5-Spades} but not for long as the flop of {9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} paired his lower card. The turn of {J-Clubs} locked up the hand, while the {10-Clubs} river mattered not.

Elsewhere, Sav Christou is the newest chip-leader in the room on around 300,000. He'll be tough to catch, but still has some way to go to get near Graham Hawkes (515,000) and Arron Fletcher (535,000), who were the two highest stacks from yesterday's Day 1a.
