In the last hand of the level before the break, Thomas Groven faced a check-raise from 3,000 to 10,000 on the turn and called. His opponent Javier Tubau Bargallo then moved all in after the river and Groven eventually called the shove for 14,175. Tubau Bargallo showed and that won the pot, leaving Groven short.

A new player that had just arrived got his stack in with after his raise to 1,700 was met by a three-bet of Noble and the shove of the Spaniard.
Noble had both opponents covered and tabled . The board came and the tens held up to eliminate two hopefuls.
The Casino Barcelona is buzzing right now. Less than one hour ago the €80+8 Side Event "The Thunder" got underway and the tournament initially had a guarantee of €10,000. There is little need to worry about making the guarantee, as just two levels in there are already 150 entries. Whether or not it will finish tonight remains to be seen, as new tables are being opened as soon as the previous ones from the €220 Opening Event are breaking.
