Kelly Kellner in jovial mood at the table as always, here on Day 1c of the 888Live Main Event in Barcelona.

An interesting two hands emerged from a fun table wihch features the newly-re-entered Cate Hall, everyone's favourite travelogue-posting high stakes cash game strategy whizz and Kelly Kellner who, and let's be clear about this, is one heck of a passionate Canadian.

A situation developed at the table which led to a poser from Torelli, but before that, let's rewind to the start of the hand with Kellner's tale of what happened.

"I had King-Jack, and called a bet in late position, I think it was 1,800. The flop came [Kc-Qc-Jh] with two clubs, I had no clubs, so he bet 3,500 and I called. The turn was the {7-Spades} and he bet 7,500 so I called again. On the {J-Hearts} river, he bet 12,000, about half his stack, so I moved in and started singing the Canadian National Anthem."

Wait, what? Yep, it's true. Kellner began the Canadian National Anthem, a full rendition of it. He's where Torelli comes in. He pitched the question to Twitter.

Proving that while we count chips while you riffle them, we can call a situation and voted a). Fortunately for the Canadian player, Kellner's opponent went with b), paying Kellner off and busting the tournament.

"He called me, showed a king and walked off. I got right to the end of the anthem too, and it's a long one, maybe two minutes. It's a Canadian crush."

Kellner also took part in the next hand, which was bumped to 2,500 pre-flop. The bet was made by a gentleman in middle position, and called not only by Kellner but raised to 7,500 by Philipp Kiefel in the big blind. Both opponents called.

On the flop of {Q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} , the gentleman in middle position open-shoved for 3,100. Kellner called that bet, but open-folded {J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} to Kiefel's re-shove. He was right to do so, with Kiefel's {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} way ahead of his opponent's {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The turn {10-Spades} and river {4-Spades} kept it that way, and good humour between Kellner and Kiefel.
