At the same time as the High Roller continues, Day 1a of the €888 Main Event of the 888Live Rozvadov Festival gets underway.
We will be focussing on the High Roller until its conclusion, and then will be returning to the Main Event to see the end of day 1a.
This is the start of three Day 1s for the tournament, which comes with a €300,000 guarantee.

With just under two levels left in the day, we can finally bring you some live action from Day 1a of the Main Event. After [Removed:291]'s stunning victory of Czech player Martin Kabrhel, the PokerNews live updating focus now switches to the €888 Main Event for the remainder of the festival.
According to the tournament clock, there were 71 entrants today, and only 22 of them are still standing...or seated.
This tournament comes with a €300,000 guarantee, and three starting flights, so expect a lot more entries over the course of the coming days.
Even with 21 players left there are still some familiar faces. They include Opening Event Day 1a chip-leader Bartosz Szafraniec, and eventual 7th place finisher in that event Alexander Dmitrienko.

Since we last saw Rachid Allouch, he had lost a significant portion of his stack, so much so that he was all in with against his opponent's stronger and much nicer-looking .
