Jian Blanks Blanco Puras

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Angel Blanco Puras jammed for about 40,000 into a pot of a little bit more with the board reading {K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades}{J-Hearts}. Jhen Siang Jian called and turned over {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for two pair.

Blanco Puras turned over {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and needed a queen and a queen only on the river to save his tournament life. However, the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Blanco Puras' run in the Main Event ended.

Kisacikoglu Ousts Puterman

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Surinder Sunar opened from late position with a limp before Ariel Puterman jammed the button for 67,000. Orpen Kisacikoglu, who lost some chips the prior blind level, asked for a chip count before he three-bet jammed for 150,000 from the small blind.

Sunar looked down at his cards before he folded.

Puterman: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Kisacikoglu: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

Puterman was ahead before the flop but he began to get out of his seat after an ace spiked the {J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. Kisacikoglu shook Puterman's hand after the {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} sent him packing.

Did You Bluff Me?

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Jon Kyte
Jon Kyte

Jon Kyte's stack has been on the rise and he now has 453,000 in chips. He shared this was despite losing a big pot earlier today.

In a recent hand, a player min-raised to 8,000 from late position and Kyte defended. Both players checked the {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop. Kyte then led out for 10,000 after the {9-Hearts} appeared on the turn and his opponent called.

Kyte checked after the {6-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and his opponent bet 15,000. Kyte let his clock wind down to zero and tossed his hand away.

"Did you bluff me?" Kyte said to his opponent with a smile?

His opponent gave no reaction and began piling up the chips from the pot into his stack.

Norway's Stian Knutsen appears to be the chip leader with the first break approaching with a massive stack of 650,000 in chips. We have seen him win many small pots but nothing big.

He stood up for a second so we asked him if there was anything big that we may have missed and he confirmed our suspicions that he has just been actively winning tons of small pots during the opening portion of Day 2.
