Kanji Chips Up; Full House for Xanthopoulos; Four-Bet by Williams
Within quick succession, several interesting hands played out over on table one. First it was Aleem Kanji that flopped middle pair and a flush draw, then rivered two pair with the ![]()
and claimed a bigger pot off Hak-Hyun Lee to take over the lead.
What followed was a raise to 60,000 by Fernando Pons and Lee called, as did Christos Xanthopoulos in the small blind and Derek Lawless in the big blind. The ![]()
![]()
flop was checked to Pons and he bet 125,000, only Xanthopoulos called. The
turn and
river were checked and Xanthopoulos flashed the ![]()
for a full house.
Last but not least, Lee raised to 75,000 and Xanthopoulos three-bet to 195,000 on the button. James Williams in the big blind four-bet to 630,000 and that won the pot without showdown, as both opponents folded.
