Grigoriu Doubles Through Belea

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Mihai Grigoriu limp-raised to 7,500 over the top of a flat-call, a raise to 2,100 by Razvan Belea on the button and a call by Gusti Adrian Sas in the big blind. Only Belea came along to see the {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, on which Grigoriu snap-shoved. Belea immediately asked for a count and the all in was deemed to be for 22,100.

After using one time bank, Belea called and Grigoriu turned over {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Belea had the slightly inferior pocket pair with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and found no help in the {6-Spades} turn and {q-Clubs} river run out. Despite losing this pot for essentially a starting stack, Belea is far from being a short stack right now, while Grigoriu joined Sas among the bigger stacks in the room.

Tamaduianu Gets Paid Again

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Adrian Constantin bet the {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop for 4,000 and was check-called by Andrei Tamaduianu in the blinds. On the {k-Hearts} turn both players checked and Tamaduianu bet the {k-Diamonds} river for 6,400.

Constantin instantly called and was shown the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a full house, revealing his {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a turned flush.

An equally big stack belongs to Mihail Lala, who flopped a set of deuces to outs Ion Lulea.

Bunica and Bera Bust to Chiriac

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Lucian Bera
Lucian Bera

Lucian Bera shot out of his seat and some players gathered to see the action unfold as a big three-way all in took place. Marius Bunica was the far shortest stack in the hand and was at risk against Bera and Petre Chiriac.

Marius Bunica: {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Lucian Bera: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Petre Chiriac: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board came {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Spades} and Chiriac had the best of it with the flopped top pair and rivered nut flush. All stacks were counted and Chiriac had some 35,000, Bera was covered by a few thousand chips and left the table in disgust.

Jaksland Replaced by Jacobson

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Peter Jaksland was eliminated soon after losing a big pot to Alexandru Papazian and Martin Jacobson showed up with a ticket in the hand soon after to take a seat on the very same table. Two WSOP bracelet winners at the same table, in an €888 event in Romania.

Nicolaou Chops With Potcoava

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

If the last few days have shown anything, it is that Mihnea Potcoava isn't shy to put his chips in the middle. After a very aggressive start that showed some profit, his stack had plummeted to around 15,000 and he got those in via four-bet to 9,500 and call of the jam of Sakis Nicolaou.

Mihnea Potcoava: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Sakis Nicolaou: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop let Potcoava freeroll, and the split pot was ensured on the {6-Hearts} turn to make the {7-Spades} river a formality.

Papazian Takes From Jaksland

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Alexandru Papazian
Alexandru Papazian

Morten Mortensen and Peter Jaksland arrived together and just sat down, the latter taking on Alexandru Papazian in a bigger pot on the latest table to open. Papazian had raised and picked up two callers including Jaksland in the small blind. On the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, Jaksland checked and called a bet of 1,500 by Papazian to go heads up to the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Again Jaksland checked and called a second barrel for 2,000. On the {6-Clubs} river, Jaksland checked and reluctantly called a third barrel for 6,600.

"Six," Papazian announced and revealed {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for a full house.
