Miller Gets It in With Deuces; More Than Doubles

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Gary Miller had the worst of it going into the showdown with {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} as he faced the {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of Tore Pedersen and the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} of Serkan Ersoy. However, the board came {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Miller hit a full house to double through Ersoy for 16,800 while Pedersen was eliminated.

Jacobson Among the Chip Leaders

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Mohammed Mia and Ramlal Basdeo were eliminated on table one and as a result, the sixth table broke and Martin Jacobson returned to the table he started on. There was just one glaring difference, as the 888poker had chipped up a lot since he was gone and returned as one of the current chip leaderss.

Mika Eliminated by Buzatu

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Samuel Mika was one of the biggest stacks after the first break, yet he has just been eliminated. After doubling another player not long ago and taking another big hit he was left short and just took on Stefanita-Catalin Buzatu. The {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} turn brought a bet of 2,200 by Buzatu in the blinds and Mika called.

The {9-Clubs} was bet once more by Buzatu, who made it 2,200 to go. Mika shoved for around 8,000 and was quickly called to reveal {q-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines. Buzatu had that beat with the {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and won the pot.

Ersoy check-called a bet of 3,600 and the {q-Hearts} turn went check, check. Ersoy then check-called a bet of 8,800 and mucked when Hall turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.
