Dinner Break on Day 1d

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Due to the bigger field size, Day 1d was sent into a 40-minute dinner break and the screens show 138 players out of the 154 unique entries remaining, on top of that there are also 23 re-entries.

In the very last hand, Albert Sapiano was cut back down below the starting stack as he doubled Kanan Farzaliyev, who hit a set of fives on the flop to stay in.

Munro Busts Apicella

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Jamie Munro
Jamie Munro

Vamshi Vandanapu had raised to 1,200 and picked up three callers. Jamie Munro then three-bet to 8,300 and Giovanni Apicella as first cold-caller moved all in out of turn. If Vandanapu had raised, Apicella would have all options but the fold followed and the shove of Novik stood.

The other two callers folded and Munro quickly called.

Giovanni Apicella: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Jamie Munro: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board came {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts} and the kings held up for Munro.

Yepremyan Doubles Through Sidhu

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Kully Sidhu had sat down and the first hand he played saw his stack cut down significantly as Albert Yepremyan called his raise to 1,300 and stuck around all the way to the river of a board {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} on which he got it in with {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for two pair. Sidhu had {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} and simply shook his head.
