Three Premium Pairs Clash

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Maria Lampropulos
Maria Lampropulos

The cards were already on their backs and the players at the tables gasped as to what had been turned over as the top three pocket pairs clashed. Arvin Vahdat had been the first to get his shorter stack of around 40,000 in, Kully Sidhu followed and Maria Lampropulos was all in for 45,000 in the big blind.

Arvin Vahdat: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Maria Lampropulos: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Kully Sidhu: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board came {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Lampropulos essentially tripled up. Sidhu had some 10,000 left over and busted shortly after.

Usmani Busts Moutousamy

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Stefanita-Catalin Buzatu was among the next to fall very early on followed by Freddy Moutousamy, who jammed a three-way flop of {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. [Removed:321] Usmani reshoved to get heads-up.

Freddy Moutousamy: {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}
[Removed:321] Usmani: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {k-Clubs} turn immediately gave Usmani the check mark, the {10-Diamonds} river was too little too late for Moutousamy.
