James and Jordon No More

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Bobby James
Bobby James

Bobby James appears to have vanished and Tamer Kamel was kind enough to provide the details. James had already lost half of his stack throughout the day and then defended the big blind against a raise by George Demetriou and a call by Pavlos Xanthopoulos.

According to Kamel, James check-raised a {10-}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop to more than 40,000 and Demetriou folded, while Xanthopoulos called. James jammed the {6-Clubs} turn and Xanthopoulos reluctantly called with a set of nines, James only had ten-seven for two pair and failed to spike another ten on the river.

Also no longer in contention is Terry Jordon, who started the day among the top 10 in the counts.

Rueda Sampedro Doubles

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jaime Rueda Sampedro was all in for around 50,000 and Lukas Gloor looked him up.

The Spaniard was at risk with the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} on a {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and Gloor had the {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. The Spaniard had a sweat to endure on the {3-Diamonds} turn but the {k-Spades} river changed nothing.
