Anderson Wins Biggest Pot So Far

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

"Hey reporter, you missed the biggest pot," a player on table eight exclaimed and Matthew Anderson was sitting on a stack of close to half a million. Apparently, Anderson had won aces against the queens of Craig Smith to become one of the current chip leaders.

Kateinas and Williams Trade Double Ups

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ioannis Kateinas in the big blind was all in with the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} and James Williams had him covered with the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}, as the flop already showed {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}. The {j-Diamonds} turn and the {4-Diamonds} river gave Kateinas the ace-high straight.

Williams was down to a nub but doubled back through Kateinas with AsQc] versus {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} on a {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} board, and the defending champion doubled one more time after.

Atshanti Doubles Through Ivgi

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Abdullah Atshanti experience a roller coaster ride and brought his short stack up to around 140,000 before dropping below the starting stack again. Just now he got it in with the {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Big stack Kfir Ivgi called with the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} and was actively rooting for a trey, which indeed came on the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

Kolesnikov Busts to Constantin

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jurij Kolesnikov got his short stack in with the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Adrian Constantin called with the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. The {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop and {9-Clubs} turn changed nothing and the river was a blank also. Kolesnikov quickly snapped a picture of the cards and board with his smart phone and headed out of the tournament area.
