Sachin Joshi

Sachin Joshi got into a raising war with Egidijus Alsauskas and was all in before the flop for around 210,000.

Sachin Joshi: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Egidijus Alsauskas: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The board came {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} and the kicker played a crucial role to send Joshi to the rail.

Kassouf Runs Kings Into Aces

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
William Kassouf
William Kassouf

William Kassouf was previously wishing for a sick hand in the big blind and he got his wish granted as he four-bet jammed for around 240,000 and three-bettor Valdir Cordeiro dos Santos in the cutoff snap-called.

William Kassouf: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Valdir Cordeiro dos Santos: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

On a board of {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, nothing changed and Kassouf headed to the registration desk.

Bueno Runs Muy Bien

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Manuel Bueno
Manuel Bueno

Dino Brivati got his stack in with {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for top two pair on the {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop but needed a king or seven, as Manuel Bueno had the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flopped flush.

The {9-Spades} turn and {6-Spades} river changed nothing and Brivati headed to the payout desk.

Bueno was barely done stacking the chips when he was in the small blind and called the button shove of Christos Xanthopoulos for 64,000.

Christos Xanthopoulos: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Manuel Bueno: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds} board gave Bueno two pair and Xanthopoulos was also gone.

Kellett Eliminated by Nguyen

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Richard Kellett
Richard Kellett

Out of the small blind, Xuan Nguyen raised to 100,000 and Richard Kellett moved all in for little more, Nguyen called.

Richard Kellett: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Xuan Nguyen: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop gave Nguyen top pair and the {q-Spades} turn made that top two, the {4-Diamonds} river came a blank and Kellett hit the rail.

Ponomarev Busts Schuman and Shaw

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Carl Shaw
Carl Shaw

Soon after Manuel Bueno had sent two players to the rail in rapid succession, Nikolay Ponomarev achieved the same feat on the very same table.

First up it was Jonathan Schuman that got it in with the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Ponomarev was ahead with the {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board provided no help for Schuman.

Right after, Carl Shaw was all in for 152,000 with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Ponomarev had that dominated with the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. The superior pocket pair held up on a {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs} board.
