Lavrov Chops With Semenyuk; Takes From Gusev

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Maksym Lavrov raised to 100,000 on the button and Leonid Semenyuk moved all in for 1,040,000. Lavrov asked for a count and made the call.

Leonid Semenyuk: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Maksym Lavrov: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Semenyuk chopped, but also avoided the worst-case scenario.

Soon after, Mikhail Gusev defended his big blind and check-called a bet worth 175,000 by Lavrov on the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} turn. The {4-Hearts} on the river was checked and Gusev turned over {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a missed straight draw, which Lavrov had beat with {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.
