Leonid Kartashov doubled twice in quick succession and the second time was for 97,500 against Yunus Tuguz. The chips were in before the flop and Kartashov held the better kicker with

board and Tuguz had to forfeit a decent chunk of his stack.

Former big stack Maksym Lavrov had dropped below the average but just took on Andrey Malyshev to get some chips back. In a four-bet pot to the 
flop, Lavrov checked and Malyshev bet 25,000 for around one-fourth of the pot. Lavrov moved all in for 165,000 and Malyshev reluctantly released his cards into the muck.

Just before the blinds went up, Natalia Panchenko on the button eyed the stack of Arman Nugmanov and raised to 9,000. Nugmanov jammed for 42,000 and Panchenko asked for a count before calling within a few seconds.

Leonid Kartashov raised to 10,000 first to act and Stepan Mikhno three-bet to 28,000 in the hijack. Ruslan Mityaev on the button four-bet to 59,500 and Kartashov folded, while Mikhno called after some table chat. The flop came 
and Mikhno checked, Mityaev snap-jammed for around 95,000 and the instant call followed.

Viktor Shegay was just celebrating a double knockout with aces, however, it was no longer in the Main Event but rather in a last-minute satellite for the High Roller that restarts later this evening. Shegay was joined on the rail by Aleksey Savenkov, Karen Arutyunyan, Pavel Voytenko, and Vyacheslav Bernikov.
