Pablo Paez had dropped to a short stack and eventually moved in with the {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds} on the button, which Daniyar Aubakirov called with the {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} in the big blind.

On a board of {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Paez spiked a trey to double and remain in contention.

D'Amico Takes From Ruida

Marco D'Amico raised to 400,000 with the {k-Spades}{10-Spades} and Lin Ruida called with the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} in the cutoff. On the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop, D'Amico check-called a bet of 400,000 and did so again for 400,000 on the {2-Spades} turn.

The {j-Hearts} on the river was checked through and D'Amico won the pot.

Ruida Chips Back Up

Pablo Paez raised to 450,000 with the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and was called by Lin Ruida in the small blind with the {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Claudio Di Giacomo in the big blind with the {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

On the {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Paez continued for 300,000 and just Ruida made the call. After the {4-Hearts} turn both players checked and Ruida bet the {10-Spades} turn for 1.2 million, Paez quickly folded.

Mario Melis Eliminated in 15th Place (€6,900)

Over on the outer table, Mario Melis was all-in for around 1.1 million with the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} in early position and he was called by David Gonzalez Delgado in the big blind with the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Melis became the 15th place finisher to take home €6,900 for his efforts.

Down to the last 790,000, Emil Westman was all-in and picked up a call by table neighbor Marco Biavaschi.

Westman was in prime position for a comeback and remained in the lead on the {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop and the {a-Spades} turn. The {9-Spades} fell on the river to send Westman to the rail in 15th place for €5,400.

Aubakirov Takes From Ruida

Daniyar Aubakirov limped in with the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Lin Ruida in the small blind raised to 700,000 with the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, which Aubakirov called. On the {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Ruida bet 950,000 to pick up a call and he then checked the {8-Hearts} on the turn. Aubakirov bet 450,000 and Ruida opted to fold.

Manuel Borges Eliminated in 17th Place (€5,400)

Over on the outer table, Marco Biavaschi raised to 400,000 and Manuel Borges three-bet to 1,200,000 off a stack of around 2.7 million. Biavaschi was sent into the think tank and then moved all-in, Borges instantly called.
