Pots for Jiang and Timms

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Xiao Jiang bet the {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{j-Spades} turn for 5,000 once the action checked to him and the Spaniard claimed the pot without resistance. Right in the next hand, he was in three-way action to the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} turn and check-folded to a bet of 1,700 by Ashley Timms and a call from one seat over.

Timms then check-raised the {q-Hearts} river from 1,600 to 6,400 in order to force a fold.

On a completed board of {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, Alvaro Martin Pulido faced the shove of his sole remaining opponent and had 48,300 behind. By then, the pot in the middle was 34,000 and Martin Pulido shrug-called.

His opponent tapped the table in defeat and was shown the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a straight, the second player involved had {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines.

Three Remain in the High Roller

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante
Jose Manuel Planells
Jose Manuel Planells

Sofia Lovgren departed in sixth place and Jose Manuel Planells followed just now. Down to four and a half big blinds he was all in with the {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Arie Zilberman called with the {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. The {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop and {a-Clubs} turn gave Planells top pair and two pair but it would be no good as the {3-Clubs} struck on the river.

Ignacio Molina is the overwhelming chip leader with 90 big blinds, Zilberman follows in second with 25 big blinds while Andrey Golubev (nine big blinds) and Leonardo Mancuso (11 big blinds) were the shortest stacks. Golubev then got it in with ace-ten against the {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} of Zilberman and the trey hit on a {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} board.

So far, a payday of €27,000 is locked up but all eyes are set on the €52,000 top prize.

With 15,100 in the middle and the turn showing {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Adrian Baez checked in the big blind and Daniel Tafur bet 15,000 from middle position. Federico Anselmi came along in the cutoff and Baez also made the call.

Baez then led the {7-Clubs} river for 10,000 and a raise to 50,000 by Tafur forced out Anselmi, while Baez called. Tafur tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for the nuts and Baez mucked {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for the jack-high straight.

Andrade Back Above Starting Stack

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Nuno "Che" Andrade, well-known in the poker community of Portugal, was tumbling below the starting stack but that just changed. On the river of a board {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}, he called a bet of 4,000 and his opponent turned over the {5-Clubs}{4-Spades} for sevens and fives.

Andrade had the winning hand with {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and received "what did you call me with, a flush draw?" in table chat.

"I was afraid if the flushdraw comes it is not enough," Andrade replied.
