Gicovanu Wins a Monster Off Pal at the End

Gero Runs Into Aces

Gergely Gero raised to 7,000 from early position and was called by Gusti Sas and Abel Aspas in the big blind.

The flop came J♠8♣8♠ and Gero continued for 11,000. Sas called, while Aspas got out of the way.

Gero bet another 25,000 on the 5♠ turn and Sas this time raised enough to put him all in. Gero snap-called for his last 75,000 and turned over Q♠Q♣, but Sas showed him A♣A♦.

The river came the 8♦ and Gero was sent to the exit as Sas collected the knockout.

Soriano Takes Out Pal, Paraschiv Regrets His Fold

Aspas Makes a Big Call to Bust Burca

With around 30,000 already in the pot on a board of 8♠5♦9♥4♦, Abel Aspas bet 18,500 from the hijack and Radu Burca called in the cutoff.

The river came the 6♥ and Aspas slowed down and checked. Burca then moved all in for around 60,000 and Aspas tanked for nearly two minutes before calling for most of his remaining stack.

Burca instantly tossed his cards into the muck and got up from his seat. The dealer exposed his J♥10♣, while Aspas showed 8♥8♣ for a set as he dragged in the pot.
