Johnson Gets Three-Bet, So He Tries Again

Christopher Johnson raised to 80,000 in the cutoff and was called by Fabian Donovan on the button before Tuan Le put in a three-bet to 425,000 in the big blind. Both Johnson and Donovan folded.

The next hand, Johnson raised again to 80,000 and Donovan called. Hong Pham also called in the big blind as they went three-handed to the 9♦5♦A♦ flop.

Johnson continued for 75,000 and only Donovan called. The turn came the 7♥ and Johnson fired out another 250,000.

Donovan called again, and both players checked the 8♥ river. Johnson then showed J♥10♠ for a rivered straight and Donovan flashed A♠10♦ before mucking as the two opponents laughed about the hand.

There was already around 300,000 in the middle as Fabian Donovan and Brandon Harris went heads-up to the turn on a board of 6♠3♣8♦7♣.

Donovan then led out for 100,000 from the small blind and Harris called in the cutoff. The river came the 3♥.

Donovan slowed down and checked, and Harris then bet 400,000. Donovan gave it some thought but decided to muck.

The flop came 8♦K♦5♥ and Harris continued for 90,000. Only Johnson called to see the 9♦ turn, where Harris slowed down and checked.

Johnson then fired out 165,000 and Harris called. The river came the 4♠ and Harris checked again.

Johnson quickly checked back. "I probably win," Harris said, turning over A♠A♣. Johnson turned over K♥Q♣ before his cards hit the muck.
