Liperis Leaves Davenport Fuming
Level 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Yiannis Liperis raised to 5,500 in middle position, Matt Davenport three-bet to 23,000 in the small blind, and Liperis called.
The flop came 6♥A♦7♥ and Davenport continued for 17,000. Liperis called and the 5♠ fell on the turn.
Davenport then checked over to Liperis, who fired out an additional 17,000. Davenport called to see the 10♣ river.
Liperis then slid forward his entire stack and Davenport snap-called. Liperis showed 9♥8♥ for the turned straight and Davenport angrily threw his cards into the middle of the table.
Davenport got up to leave, but a count of the chips showed he had Liperis' 90,000 covered by about 10,000.
