Abdulzahra Sends Crawford Deep into the Tank

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Alexander Crawford
Alexander Crawford

A pot of around 60,000 was already in the middle as Ali Abdulzahra and Alexander Crawford went to the river on a board of 2AQK7.

Abdulzahra was in the cutoff and moved all in for 70,000 as Crawford went into the tank.

"I don't believe you. That's a big bet," Crawford said as he considered the decision for several minutes. He at one point picked up his cards and held them above the table as if he was about to muck, only to put them back down and begin shuffling his chips.

"Show the bluff? Sorry guys," Crawford said, apologizing to his tablemates. He eventually tossed in a chip to signify a call.

Abdulzahra then showed AQ for two pair. "Nice hand," Crawford said with an air of resignation, mucking his cards as Abdulzahra raked in the massive pot.

His opponent checked this time and Miller bet 7,800. The hijack tanked for around a minute before calling to the J river, where Miller bet another 15,000.

His opponent quickly called all in and Miller turned over 77 for a turned set. The all-in player flashed AA before making his exit as Miller continued to grow his stack into one of the biggest in the room.

"What's your kicker," Miller said as they headed to the 7 turn.

"My kicker is not bad," Li said, checking over to Miller again. Miller then checked back and the river came the 9.
